Maximum shiv kavitt paran compositions performed in kathak dance in one taal
The record for performing the maximum number of Shiv Kavitt Paran compositions in Kathak Dance in one Taal was set by Ishavasya Gurukulam of Pune, Maharashtra. A total of 109 Kavitt Paran compositions were performed and dedicated to Lord Shiva in a single taal of 16 beats (Teentaal) by 30 participants under the guidance of Ishavasya Gurukulam’s Acharya, Dr. Nilima Deshpande Hirve. The performance lasted for 2 hours, starting at 10:15 am and ending at 12:15 pm in Pune, as confirmed on April 8, 2024.
