Maximum saplings planted by a child
The record for planting the maximum number of saplings was set by Adhisree (born on January 17, 2015) of Idukki, Kerala. She planted 500 saplings of different trees from her third birthday onwards, at the age of 7 years, 1 month and 16 days, as confirmed on February 28, 2022.
