The record for scoring the maximum number of runs in Under- 16 cricket was set by Abhigyan Abhishek Kundu (born on April 30, 2008) of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He scored 24,500 runs with 82 centuries and 117 half centuries in different match formats namely 20-20, One Day and Test Match across various age groups with an average of 70 runs, at the age of 13 years and 8 months, as confirmed on December 30, 2021.
