Maximum riders participating in an expedition to Khardungla
The record for the maximum number of riders participating in an expedition to Khardung La was set by The Tricolor Yatra of New Delhi. To celebrate the 76th Independence Day, a total of 136 riders, which included riders PAN-India, including the Indian Defense Forces, started the ride on August 15, 2023, at 8.30 am from Leh, reaching Khardung La Pass, and returned to Leh on the same day at 4.30 pm. The riders were sent up in staggered groups to help in traffic management, as confirmed on August 15, 2023.
