Maximum Prosthetic Electronic Hand Fitments Implanted in a Day
The record for implanting the maximum number of prosthetic electronic hand fitments in a day was set by Inali Foundation in Tamil Nadu. On February 22, 2025, a total of 188 battery-operated electronic prosthetic hands were implanted to various beneficiaries at Maruthu Pandiyar Kalyana Mandapam. These prosthetic arms were pre-fabricated, battery-operated electronic hands that were subsequently customized on-site to precisely match each recipient’s stump size and individual body structure, as confirmed on June 16, 2025.
