The record for maximum portraits of birds painted on palm leaves was set by Ramesh Das (born on August 14, 1983) of Howrah, West Bengal. He painted portraits of 25 birds including peacock, cuckoo, parrot, kingfisher, swan, hornbill by using acrylic colours on 25 small square cut palm leaves with the dimension of 2.5cm height and 2.5cm width, as confirmed on August 23, 2021.
