The record for carving out the maximum number of portraits on leaves was set by Sanjoy Kumar Paira (born on April 17, 1991) of Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. He made 74 portraits of men and women including families, couples, friends and famous personalities including Albert Einstein, Ramkrishna Paramhansa and Honourable Droupadi Murmu (President of India), as confirmed on April 19, 2023.
