The record for growing and cultivating the maximum number of plants was set by Shenil. T. J (born on February 27, 1978) of Wayanad, Kerala. He grew 2,600 plants of 506 varieties including Golden Pothos, Alocasia Amazonia, Lacerdae, Marigold and Milky Bamboo on his own land, as confirmed on March 19, 2022.
