Maximum People Taking Online Pledge for Eye Donation in a Day
The record for the ‘Maximum People Taking Online Pledge for Eye Donation in a Day’ was set by Rotaract District Organisation of Rotary International District 3131 of Pune, Maharashtra. A total of 1,753 people across India took the online pledge to donate their eyes when the time comes and raise awareness about eye donation. The objective of the event was to encourage individuals to commit to donating their eyes after demise, thereby helping restore vision to those suffering from blindness and contributing to the fight against preventable blindness in India, as confirmed on March 13, 2025.
