Maximum people participated in a torch rally
The record for the maximum people participated in a torch rally was set by District Administration Dharwad, Karnataka. A total of 15,000 people participated commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution. The rally began at Unkal Cross Hubli and ended at Rani Channamma Circle Hubli on February 19, 2024. Participants included Honourable District In-Charge Minister Shri Santhosh Lad, DC, CEO, HDMC Commissioner, AD SWD, AD Youth and Sports, students, women, transgender individuals, SC/ST/OBC leaders, NGOs, and the public. Themed ‘OUR CONSTITUTION OUR PRIDE, UNITY IN DIVERSITY’.
