Maximum people participated in a smoke free pledge campaign by an NGO
The record for conducting the participation of the maximum number of people in a smoke free pledge campaign was set by Jyoti Baba, Society Yog Jyoti India of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A total number of 9,00,000 people participated in a smoke free pledge campaign for the large sensitization of a smoke free ‘Smart City Kanpur’ under COTPA Act 2003, which was conducted at Madhyamik and Basic Shiksha School (Kanpur) on September 30, 2023, as confirmed on March 20, 2024.
