Maximum people participated in a heritage walk in a single day
The record for the maximum people participated in a heritage walk in a single day was achieved by the District Administration of Dharwad in Karnataka. A total of 10,000 students, accompanied by teachers from various schools across Dharwad District, took part in the Heritage Walk. The walk covered significant heritage sites; Kadambesvara temple, Shree Siddharooda Swamy Matha and many more in Dharwad town, concluding at the heritage hostel established by Dr. B R Ambedkar in 1929 to commemorate 75 years of the Indian Constitution under the theme “Our Constitution Our Pride,” conducted on February 17, 2024.
