The record for doubling the maximum numbers in five minutes was set by Monoskam Mitra (born on July 20, 2015) of Hooghly, West Bengal. He mentally doubled 21 succeeding numbers till he reached 1,67,77,21. He started with a 2 digit number (16) and stopped at an 8 digit number (16..32..64..128..256..512..1024..2048..4096..8192…16384..32768.. 65536 till 33554432) in five minutes, at the age of 5 years, 10 months and 4 days, as confirmed on May 24, 2021.
