Maximum Neurology Cases Handled by a Neurologist in a Year
The record for handling the maximum number of neurology cases by a neurologist in a year was set by Lt. Col. Jitender Sharma, Delhi. At Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt, Kirby Place, Delhi, a total of 10,161 patients (OPD and IPD) were treated by him between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. This achievement aims to raise awareness in India about neurology-related diseases, including symptoms such as persistent headaches and movement disorders, as confirmed on June 16, 2025.
