The record for achieving the maximum number of national and international patents was set by Ragul P. (born on July 11, 2002) of Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, along with other students of a college. He achieved 20 patents (16 national and 4 international) from June 17, 2021 to July 4, 2023, along with the other students of K. Ramakrishnan College of Engineering, as confirmed on April 15, 2024.
