The record for writing the maximum number of Malayalam poems on masks was set by Saseendrakurup R . (born on December 1, 1955) of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. With his pen name ‘Sasi Mavinmoodu’, he wrote and published a book titled ‘Athijeevanam – Mask Kavithakal’ (ISBN: 978-93-93951-12-0) published by Melinda Books in December 2022. The book consists of 580 poems written about the mask, connected with the survival of COVID-19, as confirmed on March 27, 2023.
