The record for writing the maximum number of letters to the Editor of a Bengali newspaper was set by Tapas Das (born on December 31, 1985) of Hooghly, West Bengal. He wrote 121 letters to the Editor of a Bengali daily newspaper ‘Ananda Bazar Patrika’ which were published in the newspaper from May 5, 2020 to April 14, 2023. The letters dealt with problems including traffic, poor road conditions, public health and hygiene, as confirmed on April 26, 2023.
