The record for covering the maximum number of Indian states in one day on individual motorcycles was set by Vijay B (born on October 19, 1987) of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, along with his wife. They started from Coimbatore, on their individual motorcycles, at 2.21 a.m. on February 21, 2026; travelled across 5 states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra, and terminated at Nagpur (Maharashtra) the same day at 11.53 p.m., covering a distance of 1,353 km in 19 hours, 39 minutes and 46 seconds (moving time provided by GPS), as confirmed on March 23, 2026.
