The record for covering the maximum number of historical monuments printed on Indian currency notes was set by Abhijit Singh Kohli (born on September 11, 1988) of Raigad, Maharashtra, along with his colleague. They undertook an expedition titled ‘Azadi Ki Amrit Parikrama’, visiting 11 historical monuments and covering 7,008 km on their respective bikes in 23 days (November 8 to 30, 2021). The monuments visited include Konark Temple, Sanchi Stupa, Red Fort and Ellora Caves, as confirmed on December 24, 2021.
