The record for identifying the maximum number of flowers and recalling their scientific names in one minute was set by Fathima Sana Puthiyantakath (born on January 27, 2015) of Malappuram, Kerala (now residing in UAE). She identified 49 flowers and recalled their scientific names including Rose (Rosa Indica), Bottle brush (Callistemon) and Mallow (Malva Sylvestris) in one minute at the age of 6 years, 5 months and 23 days, as confirmed on July 20, 2021.
