The record for reading the maximum number of English words was set by Aagan Naresh (born on September 10, 2019) of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He read 1,399 English words (consisting of 3 to 12 letters) in 40 minutes by looking at the words on a mobile screen, at the age of 3 years, 11 months and 11 days, as confirmed on August 21, 2023.
