The record for driving the maximum distance in 24 hours in an electric car ‘MG ZS EV’ was set by Bunny Punia (born on September 29, 1983) of Paschim Vihar, New Delhi, along with Shantanil Nag (born on January 10, 1991) of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. They covered a distance of 1,160 kms, starting from MG Showroom, Gurgaon, Sector -15; covering 4 laps through WPE (Western Peripheral Expressway) in Haryana and charging the vehicle thrice in between at the same MG showroom. The attempt started at 7:14 am on July 3, 2021 and was completed at 7:13am, on July 4, 2021.
