The record for the maximum distance covered in an electric car by an individual was set by Sushil Reddy of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He started the round-trip journey on February 10, 2025, from Mumbai, driving a Tata Curvv.ev through 28 cities across 8 states of India, and returned to Mumbai on April 14, 2025, covering a total distance of 10,027 km. This journey was undertaken to raise awareness about electric mobility among students at 25 universities, as confirmed on April 15, 2025.
