The record for covering the maximum distance in an electric auto rickshaw was set by J. Jothi Viknesh (August 22, 1989) of Bengaluru, Karnataka. He started his journey on December 5, 2021 from Vidhan Soudha, Bengaluru, travelled through all the states and union territories on Indian mainland and completed his journey on November 27, 2022 at Kiza café, Bengaluru, thus covering 28, 385 km in 358 days, as confirmed on January 31, 2023.
