The record for covering the maximum distance in a Maruti car was set by Lathamani (born on May 29, 1986) of Nallur, Tamil Nadu, along with her husband and son. They started their journey in their old Maruti 800 (Registration number- TN 39 R 7903) low CC engine car (796 CC) on October 25, 2022 from Tirupur and completed on November 5, 2022 at Umling La Pass, covering a total distance of 4,500 km, as confirmed on April 4, 2023.
