Maximum distance covered at sub-zero temperature by female motorcyclists
The record for covering the maximum distance at sub-zero temperature was set by Prachi Singh, Priyanka M Masti, Jimmi Mangat and Khusbhoo Chauhan. The group of four female motorcyclists started the expedition on December 3, 2023 on their Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycles, from Guwahati at 8:30 am covering Bhalukpong, Bomdia, Sela Pass, Tawang, and Bumla pass, and returned back to Guwahati on December 9, 2023 at 3:30 pm. At minus 5-degree temperature, the group covered a total of 1300 km distance on their motorcycles, as confirmed on January 5, 2024.
