The record for recalling the names of the maximum number of countries and their capitals in one minute was set by Tamanna Ajay (born on March 31, 2012) of Ernakulam, Kerala. She recalled the names of 87 countries with their respective capitals in one minute, at the young age of 9 years, 6 months and 7 days, as confirmed on October 7, 2021.
