The record for qualifying the maximum number of consecutive teaching tests was set by Krishna Shankar Rokade (born on August 30, 1993) of Sangli, Maharashtra. He qualified eight teaching tests (TET and CTET) held consecutively in the years 2018 and 2019 namely TET (Teacher Eligibility Test): PRT-2 times and TGT-2 times; CTET (Central Eligibility Teacher Test): PRT-2 times and TGT-2 times, as confirmed on January 19, 2021
