The record for the maximum coastal destinations covered in a single expedition was set by the Coastal Odyssey expedition of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Under the Leadership of Manisha Dutta accompanied by 16 explorers, they visited 80 coastal spots, showcasing India’s maritime heritage and cultural diversity. Themed “Let’s explore India first – Dekho Apna Desh,” the expedition began in Kolkata on January 9, 2024, and concluded in Kandla on January 30, 2024. They explored iconic sites like Puri, Konark, Vizag, Rameswaram, and Goa, along with lesser-known places en route as confirmed on March 18, 2024.
