Maximum buffalo clones produced
The record for producing the maximum number of buffalo clones was set by ICAR- Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes, Hisar. The institute produced eight clones including seven clones of a superior Murrah breeding bull M29 and re-clone of an earlier cloned breeding bull named ‘Hisar-Gaurav’ from October 2019 to January 2020 under the guidance of team leader Dr P.S. Yadav, Principal Scientist, as confirmed on February 3, 2021.
