The record for identifying the maximum number of breeds of dogs and cats was set by Samara Sinha (born on March 10, 2015) of Kolkata, West Bengal. She identified 161 breeds of dogs and 90 breeds of cats (total 251 breeds) in 6 minutes and 26 seconds by looking at the images on a computer screen at the age of 7 years, 2 months and 28 days, as confirmed on June 7, 2022.
