Maximum Blood Donation by Women in a Single Day
The record for the maximum number of blood donations by women in a single day set by The Rotary Club of Mehsana and the Inner Wheel Club of Mehsana, Gujarat. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the camp was organized to collect 411 blood units through an entirely women-led effort of donors, medical professionals, and volunteers. The initiative reflected a strong commitment to empowerment, service, and humanitarian values, as confirmed on March 8, 2026.
