The record for reciting the maximum number of binomial scientific names was set by Jayadratha Das (born on February 8, 2016) of Hooghly, West Bengal. He recited 165 binomial scientific names including different fruits, vegetables, birds and animals in 8 minutes and 57 seconds while being blindfolded at the age of 5 years, 9 months and 24 days, as confirmed on December 2, 2021.
