The record for making the maximum number of baskets using newspapers was set by Fathimath Sana VP (born on December 22, 2004) of Malappuram, Kerala. She made 5 medium size baskets, using newspapers, wall paint, scissors, fevicol, white cement, teeth stick and a brush, at the age of 17 years, 8 months and 10 days, as confirmed on August 31, 2022.
