The record for completing the longest solo open water sea swimming feat was set by Mantra Mangesh Kurhe (born on May 31, 2009) of Thane, Maharashtra. She covered 38 km from Dharamtar to Gateway of India on March 20, 2022 in 7 hours, 50 minutes and 40 seconds at the age of 12 years, 9 months and 20 days, as confirmed on June 28, 2022.
