The record for playing the Tabla for the longest duration was set by Shreya Bhattacharjee (born on January 20, 2010) of Karbi Anglong, Assam. She played the Tabla for Teen Taal in different ‘Layas’ with multiple Kayadas, Relas, Tukdas, Paran, Farad, Chakradhar and Teehai for 1 hour, 2 minutes and 53 seconds at the age of 12 years, 1 month and 11 days, as confirmed on February 12, 2022.
