The record for bending both thumbs backwards for the longest duration was set by Abin Vijoy (born on March 1, 2006) of Ernakulam, Kerala. He held both thumbs in the backward bending position for 35 minutes, 13 seconds and 15 milliseconds, at the age of 16 years and 4 days, as confirmed on March 5, 2022.
