The record for throwing the longest basketball shot was set by Manisha Satyajit Dange (born on December 8, 1979) of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The shot sailed through the air and landed in the basket placed at a distance of 22 meters (66 feet), as confirmed on June 21, 2021.
