The record for the largest simultaneous participation of school students in a virtual STEM quiz set by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), working under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology, Govt of Gujarat, India. On January 7, 2026, at Gujarat Science City, the national-level initiative recorded 15,01,249 registrations and aimed to promote awareness, curiosity, and conceptual understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The program encouraged critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and real-world application of classroom learning among school students, as confirmed on January 7, 2026.
