The record for making the largest portrait of Mahatma Gandhi using multicoloured bottle caps was set by Manjesh Mohan (born on November 15, 1980) of Kottayam, Kerala. He made the portrait, measuring 20 feet x 18 feet, with plastic bottle caps by pasting it on 30 different plywood sheets (each measuring 3 feet x 4 feet); finally painting with enamel colours, as confirmed on October 30, 2021.
