The record for making the largest portrait of an Indian actor using Mahogany leaves was set by Ananthu Shajan (born on April 20, 1999) of Pathanamthitta, Kerala. He pasted 12 chart papers on a wall and using pencil, drew the outline of Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi (measuring 2.14 m x 2.21 m) and then pasted the Mahogany leaves (Swietenia macrophylla).
