Largest Motorcycle Expedition by the Indian Army in Collaboration with a Two-Wheeler OEM
The record for the largest motorcycle expedition was set by the Indian Army in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Kargil Vijay Diwas. Eight brave riders began their motorcycle expedition on 12 June 2024 from the routes as Southern route from Dhanushkodi ,Tamilnadu till Dras (distance 5908 Km), Eastern route from Dinjan,Assam to Dras (distance 4246 Km), Western route from Dwarka, Gujarat to Dras (distance 3013 km), Northern Route from National War Memorial,Delhi to Dras (distance 1691 km). Along the way, they met and honoured Veer Naris and War Veterans, and conducted motivational sessions for School children and NCC Cadets, as confirmed on 10 July 2024.
