The record for creating the largest Indian flag using handprints was set by Little Flowers School of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. A total number of 163 students (from playgroup to class V) of the school handprinted the saffron and green bands of the flag to create the largest Indian flag (measuring 8 feet x 6 feet) to celebrate the 79th Independence Day, as confirmed on September 3, 2025.
