Largest Ghevar
The record for making the ‘Largest Ghevar’ was set by Jaipur Greater Nagar Nigam under the leadership of Mayor Dr. Somya Gurjar, in collaboration with Johari Lal Sodhani, Sodhani Sweets Pvt. Ltd, Lal Kothi, Tank Road, Jaipur. They made the largest circular shaped ghevar measuring 475 kg (circumference 7.3 feet and 9-inch thickness) using wheat flour, ghee (clarified butter), sugar syrup, milk, and cheese, topped with saffron, spices, and nuts to preserve cultural heritage of Rajasthan and to celebrate Teej Festival, at Abhinandan Banquet Hall, Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, as confirmed on August 5, 2024.
