The record for making and displaying the largest cloth face mask was set by Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, IAS, Sub -Collector, Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. The mask, measuring 43ft x 40ft, was displayed with messages in order to create electoral and COVID-19 safety awareness among the voters. The event was held at Five Corner, Hanumantapuram, Dharapuram, Tiruppur, on March 22, 2021.
