The record for the preparation of the largest banana walnut bread was set by the School of Hospitality at JECRC University, Jaipur, Rajasthan. On April 4, 2026, under the supervision of Dr. Manish Shrivastava, (Dean-HHM), Head of Department, chefs, faculty members, and students set a record by preparing a large walnut-banana bread that measured 30 ft in length and weighed 200 kg at the university. The bread was distributed to underprivileged children through the social aid initiative, Zarurat. This activity combined culinary skill, precision, and teamwork, aiming to set a new global milestone while showcasing innovation and coordination in large-scale baking, as confirmed on April 20, 2026.
