The record for ‘Largest Artistic Display for Coastal and Marine Conservation Awareness’ was set by Spandan, in partnership with HCL Foundation, Puri, Odisha. On September 19, 2026, International Coastal Cleanup Day, numerous marine activists gathered along the coast of Bay of Bengal, to collect abandoned fishing nets and lost fishing gear. These materials were transformed into a large artwork displayed at Puri Beach, highlighting the impact of ghost nets on marine life and promoting conservation awareness, as confirmed on September 28, 2026.
