And it is this courage that we appreciate and encourage. Today, we have listed for you some bizarre records at India Book of Records. Read on and be ready to get your mind blown!
An enormous fort made of chocolate
Willy Wonka might have had a chocolate factory, but in our record books, we have a fort made of chocolates! Mayura Sumit Parakh of Dhule, Maharashtra, made the record of making the heaviest handmade edible chocolate fort cake. She created a handmade edible chocolate fort cake (weighing 102.923 kg) on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. She used dark chocolate, white chocolate, sugar print edible sheets, golden dust, edible sugar balls and other edible ingredients. The fort had intricate details like walls, towers, and cannons. It was a mind blowing record which symbolised strength, artistic skills and bhakti bhaav of women.

This goat is G.O.A.T-ing for real
Goats are cute animals. We all have seen them roaming around aimlessly, nibbling on green grass. At times you can find them chewing a piece of cloth stuck on a leafy branch they were aiming for. But have you ever thought how heavy they can become just by nibbling on greens?

Meet Aamir Majaz Dange of Thane, Maharashtra. He has raised a goat which has set the heaviest goat record at India Book of Records. He owns a heavy ‘Kota’ breed goat, named ‘Shahenshah-E-Hind’, which literally translates to emperor of India, but just in the goat kingdom.
The massive goat weighs 173 kg at the age of 2 years and 6 months, which is approximately the same as that of an adult female Bengal Tiger! Let that sink in…
The Index finger jutsu
At India Book of Records, we have witnessed the strangest of records representing incredible human feats. But then there are record-holders like Vinod R. Pillai from Kollam, Kerala. Vinod set a jaw-dropping record of piercing maximum watermelons using just his index finger. He pierced 8 watermelons, each measuring 9 inches in length and weighing 1.92 kg in just 55 seconds

Before piercing each watermelon, he would position his finger in a certain way, concentrating all his energy on the tip of the finger. It almost seems like he is performing a jutsu (mystical arts performed by ninjas).
Breaking tiles and taboos
There are some record stories, which along with being incredible Indian record stories, also act as a silent pushback against the set societal beliefs and norms. Ananya Sinha of Bengaluru, Karnataka, has set one such record.

At the age of 14 years, 1 month and 30 days, she set a phenomenal record of being the a teen on whose stomach maximum marble tiles were broken while being in chakrasana yoga pose. She got 4 marble tiles (each measuring 43 cm x 23 cm), weighing 20 kg, broken on her stomach while holding the chakrasana yoga pose.
She proved wrong all those people who say that girls are weaker than boys. We are absolutely sure that she must be pretty strong in comparison to many boys her age.
Same-same, but different!
There is nothing uncommon about typing on a keyboard in today’s time. Many a people can do that, but where is the fun in typing with fingers? So, to alter the status-quo, Suresh Kumar S., of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, set a record of being the fastest to type letters of the English alphabet in forward and reverse order using not his finger, but tongue.

With his hands tied at the back, he managed to accurately type the letters of the English alphabet from A to Z and Z to A, in uppercase and without space, on a computer screen in just 25.73 seconds.
These were just a handful of some of the most eccentric record stories that we have documented over the course of 21 years. During this long and interesting journey. We have come across many such people who have presented such talents which are uncanny and don’t fit the usual mould of talents.
