The record for delivering highest fuel efficiency by a diesel powered medium commercial vehicle on Mumbai – Chennai stretch was set by TATA Motor’s Ultra T.19 truck powered by Turbotronn 2.0 engine. Two 4×2 Trucks, with a company fitted 32 Ft container body and driven by a team of 6 drivers recorded highest average Fuel efficiency of 7.189604 Km/L over Mumbai – Chennai stretch (1492.1 kms) of the Golden Quadrilateral National Highway route in 36 hours 5 minutes, starting August 31, 2023 and ending September 2, 2023. The measured metrics are compared with the medium commercial vehicles in real world driving duty cycle, as confirmed on January 12, 2024.
