The record for delivering highest fuel efficiency by a diesel powered medium commercial vehicle on Delhi – Mumbai stretch was set by TATA Motor’s Ultra T.19 truck powered by Turbotronn 2.0 engine. Two 4×2 Trucks, with a company fitted 32 Ft container body and driven by a team of 6 drivers recorded highest average Fuel efficiency of 6.589084 Km/L over Delhi – Mumbai stretch (1441 kms) of the Golden Quadrilateral National Highway route in 29 hours 53 minutes, starting August 30, 2023 and ending August 31, 2023. The measured metrics are compared with the medium commercial vehicles in real world driving duty cycle, as confirmed on January 12, 2024.
